Our journey to creating this company began during some of the most challenging times in our lives, and we’re here to help others turn their homes into spaces of comfort, growth, and inspiration.
For Cate, it all began when Hurricane Harvey devastated her new home just hours after moving in, leaving everything submerged under several feet of water, moving boxes bobbing in the living room. The process of rebuilding was slow and intentional, but it became a powerful lesson in what "home" truly means—a place of stability, connection, and strength. As she pieced her life back together, room by room, Cate realized how essential it is to create a home that supports your emotional and physical well-being. Once the interior was livable again, she turned her focus to the ruined landscaping, determined to breathe life back into the sparce property around her. Learning through trial and error, she cultivated the ground and rooted herself in the environment she created. This experience gave her a deep understanding of how an intentional home and garden can help people not just survive, but thrive.
For Sarah, her passion for home came after a major life shift that left her and her kids navigating multiple moves and transitions. When they finally settled into a new, builder-grade house that felt sterile and uninspired, Sarah took it as an opportunity to start fresh—this time on her own terms. With a renewed outlook on life and freed from outside influence, she has begun to transform her space into a reflection of her unique goals, lifestyle, and preferences. Sarah has also started pouring her love for nature into the lackluster landscaping, determined to create a space of connection, beauty, and growth for her next chapter.
